The Role:

Your role will be to oversee the digital marketing strategy for the company including management of the company’s website, together with all digital communications.

The DMM will be responsible for composing and activating all digital marketing strategies and for measuring the efficiency, accuracy, and reach across all digital channels, producing regular reports for both the line manager and the board. The DMM will work with the Sales Manager to identify opportunities and create new strategies. In addition, the DMM will work with corporate partners to sign-off on planned advertising campaigns.

You will be experienced in creating far-reaching campaigns and will have the know-how of creating ingenious campaigns on small budgets. You know how to excite different audiences and get them talking and sharing.

Open Bionics is looking for a great digital marketing manager with the mindset of a results-driven, scrappy hacker.  

Your responsibilities will include:

  •       Devising strategies to drive online traffic to the company website.

  •       Tracking conversion rates and making improvements to the website.

  •       Developing and managing digital marketing campaigns.

  •       Utilising a range of techniques including paid search, SEO, and PPC.

  •       Overseeing the social media strategy for the company.

  •       Managing online brand and product campaigns to raise brand awareness.

  •       Managing the design of the company websites in accordance with the overarching design and brand guidelines.

  •       Improving the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website.

  •       Responsibility for planning and budgetary control of all digital marketing.

  •       Evaluating customer research, market conditions and competitor data.

  •       Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing.

  •       Implement all social media activities across all relevant platforms

  •       Produce assets and copy as required for usage in digital communications

  •       Evaluate emerging technologies. Provide thought leadership and perspective for adoption where appropriate

  •       Create and produce innovative email campaigns that stand out from the crowd

  •       Devise and run direct /email campaigns and track click through, responses, etc

  •       Maintain tone of voice over a number of channels and for a variety of products / identities

  •       Ensure brand consistency runs across the campaigns

  •       Be aware of current customer trends to implement into the campaigns

Requirements:

  •       Degree / HE qualification in Marketing.

  •       Experience managing social media activities, PPC campaigns , SEO programmes or similar

  •       Experience developing, implementing and measuring email campaigns

  •       Experience developing and measuring long-term marketing strategies for the UK (US too)

  •       Experience segmenting audiences

  •       Around three years’ experience within a similar role

  •       Proven ability to work within tight deadlines

  •       Experience with CRM tools

  •       Deep knowledge of social media techniques and development of audiences

  •       Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns that engage, inform and motivate

  •       Experience in optimising landing pages and user funnels

  •       Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments

  •       Solid knowledge of website analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics)

  •       Working knowledge of ad tools

  •       Experience in setting up and optimising adword and highly targeted campaigns

  •       Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints

  •       Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking

  •       Knows the latest trends and best practices in online marketing and measurement

  •       Previous experience in a similar digital marketing role

  •       Can create flawless copy and be able to proof read to a high standard

Biomedical/Mechanical Engineer

Candidate must have or be working towards chartership with the IMechE or equivalent body

The Role:

We’re a small team of six that can offer an extremely rewarding job, both in terms of content and environment by working to create advanced and affordable bionic limbs for people with limb differences.

The successful applicant will take on the responsibility of completing end-to-end mechanical development for our product lines of robotic and bionic limbs, and will have the potential for rapid promotion as the company grows. Practical Experience Required:

  • Advanced Blender 3D modelling skills -  in the event that you have no prior experience with Blender we can provide e-Learning resources so you can learn before your start date. In this case, experience with a parametric CAD package such as Solidworks is required.

  • Desktop 3D printing knowledge (Ultimaker / BQ Hep2)

The Role:

We’re a small team of six that can offer an extremely rewarding job, both in terms of content and environment by working to create advanced and affordable bionic limbs for people with limb differences.

The successful applicant will work closely with our mechanical engineering team and amputee volunteers to develop a product line of bionic limbs. You will be excited about the future of prosthetics and orthotics, and be willing to experiment with fitting and supplying techniques. We are particular interested to work with people who have had a lot of clinic time with upper-limb patients. Together, we will design new sockets that are comfortable, light, flexible, stylish, fast to print, and most importantly; a great fit!

It’s important that the candidate is full of energy and enthusiasm for the work they do, and for the work we do. We are looking to hire someone who works well independently and within a small team. Ideally, the candidate will be attracted to the idea of working with an ambitious engineering team to improve prosthesis design.

Practical Experience Required:

  • Experience with fitting children with upper-limb devices

  • Experience with fitting adults with upper-limb devices

  • Experience casting and moulding sockets

  • Experience prescribing upper-limb prosthetics

  • Experience designing custom sockets / prosthetics

Practical Experience Desired:

  • Familiar with new 3D scanning techniques

  • Familiar with 3D printed prosthetics
